The service
These terms cover the TrueNorth website and workspace. You can enter company metrics against a published definition and share those values with people you choose. Pages marked sample data are illustrations, not customer reports.
Accounts
When registration is open, the founder workspace is free during beta. You create an account with your name, email, and a password. You are responsible for activity under that account. Passwords are stored as hashes. Creating an account does not ask for a card.
Your data
You keep the metrics you enter. Sharing follows the visibility settings in the product. We do not sell your data. The privacy policy describes subprocessors, the optional product-notes email, and retention.
Acceptable use
Do not break into the service, probe for secrets, or submit data you do not have rights to share.
No warranty
The service is provided as it runs today. Definitions are the open standard. Benchmarks, when shown, are computed from contributed data and are not a promise about a company. Nothing here is investment, legal, or tax advice.
Changes
A newer version of these terms replaces this page. The date above is the latest change. Governing law is not stated here until the operator publishes it.
